  Weld defects: The weld defects of stainless steel flanges are relatively serious. If manual mechanical polishing is used to make up for them, the resulting polishing marks will cause uneven surface and affect the appearance; Uneven polishing and passivation: After manual polishing and polishing, acid pickling and passivation treatment are carried out, making it difficult to achieve uniform and consistent treatment results for workpieces with large areas, and cannot achieve an ideal uniform surface. And its drawbacks include high labor costs and auxiliary material costs;

  Scratches are difficult to remove: overall acid pickling and passivation can cause chemical or electrochemical corrosion and rust in the presence of corrosive media, and cannot remove impurities such as carbon steel and spatter that adhere to the surface of stainless steel due to scratches and welding spatter;

  How to solve the problem of stainless steel flange processing?

  1. Select the material to be cut off, and after completion, proceed to the next process. Different stainless steel workpieces enter the corresponding process according to the processing requirements;

  2. When bending, the tool and groove used for bending should be determined based on the dimensions on the drawing and the thickness of the stainless 304 seamless steel pipe material. Avoiding deformation caused by collision between the product and the tool is the key to selecting the upper mold (different models of upper molds may be used in the same product), and the selection of the lower mold is determined based on the thickness of the plate.

  3. In order to weld firmly, convex points are added to the workpiece to be welded, which can make the convex points evenly contact the flat plate before electric welding, ensuring consistent heating at each point. At the same time, the welding position can be determined, and welding needs to be carried out. The pre pressing time, holding time, maintenance time, and rest time should be adjusted to ensure that the workpiece can be spot welded firmly.
